Fibre Optic Yacht Sign for Dip Door Transom
50m Heesen Yacht ‘Ann G’, asked for a stern name capable of being mounted on a curved transom garage door which submerges when opened.
We proposed fibre optic illumination with remote LED light source. A custom fitment method was devised to keep the letters secure and water-tight against the garage door when open.
The remote light source combined with linear fibre optics means that there is no heat or electrics present at the name making this method the perfect solution for a submerging garage door.
